I was at Physio again yesterday morning. She advise me to see the doctor as she notice my wound is leaking fluid. She say 2 sutures are not good and I need to see the doctor again. The doctor prescribed strong antibiotics as it may be my body reacting to the sutures. I will have to see him again next week to check on the wound.
I am glad this Physiotherapist who is Senior asked me to go. I cannot drop in to see the doctor. The reception insist the Physio to call my doctor before the appointment is accepted. It is the system. I do not like it as it seems like they are making it difficult for patient to do followup if they are experiencing any unusual symptoms.

The thing good about Japan is I could consult a specialist directly
without a referral from a gp.
The healthcare system is far superior compared to Singapore. It is also very affordable. This is why the average life span in Japan is so much higher.
