Nanbantei Yakitori Far East Plaza

After looking at the menu and salivating for so long, finally I managed to convince The Wife to try.  The charcoal flavor of all the yakitori is simply delicious.  There is a lunch menu, so you can try the food for $13 plus plus.  We had two set lunch, chicken wings, beef with miso and grilled rice ball.  Pretty good food for $20/head.  We were not too hungry and did not want to blow our budget.  After lunch, I had coffee at the Japanese French bakery in Scotts.  Overall, we had a good meal.  The family that ate beside us in Nanbantei also go to the bakery when we were there.  After evaluating the breads and confectionery, they left.  Maybe they are still full from their yakitori lunch.  Maybe they did not like the breads and cakes.  Whatever their reason, it is interesting to see the same group in the same resturants.  We are like bar hopping with them!
