My eldest and youngest sister come over for dinner. It is our Christmas dinner. We had salt-baked chicken and a full ham. My baby sister brought shepard pie and a savory tart. I also made cucumber pickle. The meal went well. They enjoyed the food and we had good conversation together. I am very happy they took ham back. It is a compliment to the taste of our food. My two nieces are quite engaged in having conversation with us and nephew is also good.
I am very grateful for this good family time. Next gathering is Day 1 of Chinese New Year.
