Expensive Parking at Shangri-la

I reached Shangri-la this morning slightly after 8am.  I had a meeting at 8:45pm.  My meeting finished 10:10 am.   The privilege of two hours parking is $10.  Really expensive.  I was kicking myself for forgetting to get complimentary car park.  Whenever I have meetings in the hotels outside Singapore, I always remember to ask my guests if they need to get the carpark tickets stamped.  The problem is in Singapore there is no ticket as our parking system uses cashcards.  So it is easy to forget.

Shangri-la considering the age of the hotel is still very nice.  I like the ambient.  It is also an oasis of calm and nature right at the heart of the city.  I like the hotel.  It is elegant!
