My eldest niece will be geting married tomorrow. As a tradition, my wife and I were invited to comb her hair. We have to give 3 long brush strokes and every stroke, my wife recites a saying - wishing her good long marriage, plenty of kids and a life full of bliss. This is I believe a Cantonese tradition. By tomorrow, I will have 3 nieces married. I have another four to go - 3 nieces from my brother and 1 from my eldest sister.
My mum will become great grandmother if any of my married nieces have a baby. She will be returning to Canada after end of June.
