Longest Queue for Beancurd

Yes, it is right! It is the longest queue I have ever seen for the humble tow huay or soya bean curd jelly. The lunch time crowd has only an hour for lunch and they are willing to queue for half an hour for a bowl of bean curd. It is in Maxwell Hawker Centre right beside URA. I was pretty amazed by the sight. A bowl of bean curd cost $1.50. In the market, it usually cost $0.70. Mr. Bean or Jolly Bean sells them for $1.50 but their location are in the shopping malls which cost more in rent.

I am intrigued and will go back to try out this amazing beancurd.
