Mall Rat

I met an old friend. He was staying in a hotel near a golf course. It is a deathly quiet place. Dark everywhere except for the hotel lobby. It is in the middle of nowhere. Unless it is not possible, I always chose a hotel with a mall nearby. He called me a mall rat. I do plenty of shopping, window shopping. I do not need much stuff and do not wish to accelerate the demise of our Mother Earth. However, I still buy books for learning and education.
Today, Takashimaya has 10% discount. So I bought water filters and storage boxes that air can be pumped out to keep food fresh for longer time. I am happy to buy stuff to reduce waste and best of all, there is another 30% discount. So I save plenty of $$$! Thank God for retail therapy.
