After a week off even though I am working sporadically, it is good to be back at work. I feel recharged and the year is ending. We have plenty to do. Stock-take, objectives, performance reviews, and all the processes to keep the bureaucracy oiled and running.
The year, we end with a bang. The business recovered and have significant growth over last year. We are looking forward to a good bonus for our office team.
Business environment is still challenging. Competition is extremely stiff and price pressure severe. Make matter worse, costs are going up relentlessly with commodity prices reaching record high almost every week.
We really need some innovation and market changing products to beat the brutal market place. Right now it is just a dog-eat-dog world.
