It is great to go on leave and have some quality time with my family. Taking care of the boys is quite a challenge and rewarding at the same time. We have to figure out what to do. Both B1 and B2 still have to go to school as they have extra classes or CCAs. So we have time together only late in the evening and drove together to E-Hub in Pasir Ris for chicken rice - Chatterbox Style. It is good taste and good value compared to Chatterbox.
In Singapore, it looks like school holiday is no different than regular school days. All the kids are back in school. In Canada, there will not be a single soul in school during school holiday. What a contrast! We are a pressure cooker here. Our kids are learning well and scored well in International assessments. Canada and US will fall behinds as the students have it easy. Enjoy now and pay later just like credit cards for life as a student.
Somewhere in the middle between Canada and Singapore will be ideal.
