Two colleagues in KL office falls sick. One is on MC today and the other will be on MC tomorrow and the day after. I have tummyache on my lower left abdomen which I suspect may be typhoid or related to something I ate in KL. I loved the hawker food but seems to always get into trouble in KL. I suspect the hygiene standards are much lower and not as stringent. Hence my stomach weakened by the very clean and well-prepared food at home has trouble dealing with contaminated food. Malaysian food tends to have fermented seafood or prawn paste for flavoring increasing the risks further.
I may need to start eating in proper resturant in KL. And miss out my favorite foods...sigh!
