The food court in Tampines 1 shopping mall has a KL style of Roast Meats like Char Siew, Roast Pork Belly (Siew Yoke) and Roast Duck. The char siew is blackened and looks very delicious. I decided to go for the double roast i.e. char siew siew yoke. Or roast pork with roast pork belly. The pork belly is crispy but a little too salty to my taste. The char siew was sweet and yummy. It is also burnt to the right degree. I love charred char siew! I know it is unhealthy as there may be plenty of carcinogenic compound. It is mainly caramelised and carbonised sugars.
It is also not too crowded as I was there for late lunch at about 2pm. This is a great place to taste KL cuisine.
