Stanford Executive Briefings

In Bishan Library, there is a set of videos documenting breakfast talks by key industry players and professors. You have to sign up for premium membership in order to borrow videos/cdroms. The Stanford Executive Briefings is a series I have learn a lot from. It is a video seminar. Technology has brought the lectures by Chip Health (How to make your ideas stick), Gary Hamel - Innovation, Branding by the CEO of book for Dummies, etc.
The premium membership is only $21 per year. There are other documentaries by National Geographic and BBC. I like the Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond. In the video based on the book by the same title, Jared attempt to explain why some societies are poor or have not much material wealth and other societies in the West has all the technology and material things.
