Choked Drainage

Our kitchen drainage is choked and water overflowing out of the drain hole. Man, what a mess! Stinking water, dirty and slippery, YUKKK! Pumping it with suction pump did not work. Finally, I have to call a plumber. Luckily my neighbour had used one before and he is not bad. He came over right away and use a flat rubber washer kind to push through and pump it a few times. The water drains right away. What a relief!
It is expensive. The cost of clearing which takes less than 10 mins is S$150. This can pay for 3 persons to attend a 3 hrs cabin crew course conducted by Luke Tan, an ex-CCE from SIA.

Luke's fees have increased to $100per student(worse than garmen).

If I am Luke, I will charge more. It will mean only motivated students who really desire to learn how to be admitted into Cabin Crew Club will attend. $150 pays for 4.5 student hours. It is a bargain compared to 10 mins unclogging the drain. However, plumbing is dirty and not glamorous. Maybe this is why plumbers can earn high fees.
