Confucius

I was reading the Complete Plain Words. There is a quote from Confucius that is quite appropriate.

"If language is not correct, then what is said is not what is meant; if what is said is not what is meant, the what ought to be done remains undone."

Confucius is a wise man. I like Lao Tzu better. I get kicks out of the paradoxes in Tao Te Ching.

Is the book title Tao Te Ching?

Since your Chinese is good, you should read Tao Te Ching in Chinese. I like Chuang Tzu by Burton Watson. There are other books on Taoism which are interesting.

I prefer to read Shin Min Daily news and magazines. I rarely read Chinese books as I only studied Chinese till my 'O' Levels. Thus my Chinese knowledge is not very good.
