We are trying to do regular lunches and it can be a challenging task! It is so difficult to gather everyone or at least most. Even in a small group. I like to be easy so that those can come come rather than wait for everyone to be available.
Also we need to go to places that allows us to sit for long time as we will talk until the cow comes home. It is quite nice to just have "fellowship". I enjoys it as it is a break from just family and home.

We get together once a month at a food court to be determined
by our "monitor". After a few years, the meeting became stale
but there will always "newcomers" to join us. Sometimes, our
teachers (those still around) would join us.
We just started. So we have a few years to go. Right now it is not regular. Ad hoc when some one suggest. But I do agree, it will get stale as we will be reminiscing same old stories...
