I was cycling to Punggol Point as usual. Sometimes, cycling back the long way through Punggol New Town. Along the canal, a toddler girl wanted to do something and the maid taking care of her refuses and toddler sat on the floor. The maid was angry and jerk the little girl up by grabbing her 2 forearms and yanking them up violently. The poor girl started to cry.
I told the maid off loudly to stop hurting the little girl. She just pretended not to hear and tell the girl loudly she will bring her back to her mum. The maid walk off with the crying girl. I glare at her for a few seconds and continue to ride home

Usually maids are ok with kids.
My baby was crying out of control when we left him with our maid alone for a short while. We always wonder why until repeated news that maids slapped and hit the babies in their care. Now we believe our maid did something to our baby. Granted that was many years ago. We have never suspected our maids before.
