Pen Cai

I try to make my own Pen Cai using frozen abalone, fishmaws and shark fins.  The soup base is also frozen type.  I thought it was regular but my wife like it and opine that it is better than the pen cai we bought last year.    I am not a connoisseur of soup although I enjoyed the shark fins a lot!  I know it is bad to eat sharkfins.   But this is once a year.  I am glad to try out super premium soup.  It warms my soup beside tasting good.

I will make a more complete pen cai for reunion dinner with chicken wings, vegetables and dried scallops.  I will just go to the one on display in Takashimaya Basement and copy the Pen Cai I bought last year.
