Age of Innocence

I finished this book by Kishore Mhabubani. This book discuss US policy and the how it affected the rest of the world. Americans are puzzled by the reactions of the people they "freed" from the dictatorships. They viewed the rest of the world should read their actions based on their "good intention" and if the consequences are disastrous, they should not be blamed. However for their domestic policies, they are concerned with the consequences of the policy change. This double standard is observed by the rest of the world.

It is an eye opener to read about all the world events and how US affected the rest of the world and do not suffer any consequences of her actions. American's attitude is it is fine as long the problem is not my backyard.
