My sister-in-law and her family is vacationing in Japan this week and is scheduled to return home today. Their plans are disrupted. Narita Airport is closed and they have to stay in a different hotel as the train services are disrupted as well. I did not realised that there is an earthquake on the Richter scale of 8.9 causing major tsunami, damage and death. I thought it was the earthquake a couple days ago that is undersea and did not cause any damage.
We are glad they are safe and hope they can return home soon.
