New neighbours bring in new dynamics into our little kampung or village. We will have a new neighbour that own two "huge BMWs" and a Australian family will be moving in as well. I have one friendly and helpful new neighbour and the other is a stuck-up woman who pretend not to see you. This is like "Compare and Contrast" topic that is required in GP(general paper) during Pre-University or Junior College. New member always bring in change to a group. So I guess a member's departure will also bring in changes as well.
Good or bad, we have to adapt otherwise, we will be phased out. Charles Darwin
