Wood Table

The computer tables we bought from Ikea as study tables for the boys are worn out. It is also too small. We decided to look for a bigger table. This time we decide to buy solid wood table. Table that will last a lifetime. I am using solid wood table for my home office. It is more than two years old and is very beautiful still. There are some scratches but they are fixable because unlike the veneer which will be permanently damage when scratched, all I need to do is to polish the wood and then apply shellac. The wood surface will look as good as new. The only disadvantage is it take 3 months to get the tables as they need to be made in Burma and then ship to Singapore.
