Activities can be Rewarding

Well, it is a busy day. I have done lots of work. At the end of the day, it felt good with a satisfying sense of accomplishment. I realise just doing lot of activities can be rewarding too. Many things cannot be measured, however we know it when we see it.

For example love. How does one measure love? The number of hugs or preparing the favourite food. Maybe kissing and necking or taking care of the physical needs of sick or stricken. These are physical manifestations can be seen and measured. However, it does not really measure love. For love cannot be measured with an instrument or observation.

Activities like collections can be measured and the more the better. So the means can become the ends. Instead of results which is the end, we practise more activities.
