I like to propose a Ministry of Happiness. We should have a few happiness index. One for the country, one for the family, one for the individual. We can develop a social networks and communities to help increase our happiness indices. Volunteering for altruistic causes, helping others to get gainful employment, programs for retirees, alleviate fears or help others to startup and sustain small businesses. The Minister is charge with making citzens and residents happy. The goal is not to create utopia but have a gracious and happy society. Singapore will continue to have a bright future. I like to quote the movie - A Few Good Men, "It is the duty of the strong to protect the weak."
