Slow but Progress - Programming Self Taught

I am facing obstacles after obstacles in learning how to program.  My boy finally asked me to go to Harvard website and follow the course.  I am too impatient.  I may have to learn from an instructor as it is quite difficult to learn from books.


Anyway, it is the next big thing and I want to participate just for the fun of it.
